ACTION LEARNING Overview   Action Learning is a small group problem solving methodology using questions predominantly as a means of inquiry. It originated in the United Kingdom in the middle of 1800 and later adapted to be used in the corporates by researchers.   Action Learning brings about a shift in participants’ mindset from advocacy to active listening, inquiry, leadership, observation, exploration, appreciation and direct communication. It fuels reflection, exploration, imagination and hence innovation in teams. It allows leaders to be sensitive of team dynamics and also lead conversations that empowers a team while solving a challenge or working on a goal.   It enhances organizational learning, leadership in teams, individual growth and openness to change.  A skilled Action Learning coach is considered as a perfect 21st century leader, capable of leading a team through ambiguity and uncertainty, empowering the team while taking actions, learning and achieving results. Currently Action Learning is used by many number of organizations across the world.
